He is house trained on pee pads but is smart enough to be tought to go out, he is not a barker at all. And very laid back. Yes he gets along with other dogs small and lg. He has never been around cats. He gets along with my grandchildren.as well But keep in mind any pets should be introduced to other pets and children slowly to get them use to New environment .
